Youth artwork on display screen at Kelowna’s RCA

A collaborative effort and hard work uniting four completed visual instructors, 20 youth, and 140 little ones from the Okanagan location, will come to existence as an exhibition at Inside Wellbeing known as RCA Summer months Visions: Youth Exhibition 2023. This exhibition celebrates the creative imagination and imagination of little ones and teenagers, encapsulating their summer months journey at the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) found in Kelowna’s Cultural District.

With a assortment of 33 artworks, this exhibition showcases the talents nurtured through two one of a kind plans provided by the RCA Summer months of Arts and Arts Blast. These packages have empowered younger artists aged 5 to 16 to discover their artistic probable and make meaningful items of art.

It is a celebration of their imaginative journeys and a reflection of the transformative ability of artistic exploration,” states Colleen Fitzpatrick, Government Director of the Rotary Centre for the Arts. “We are immensely proud of their achievements, and we invite anyone to expertise the environment of art through their eyes.”

The exhibition functions 17 items crafted by the members of RCA’s Summer season of Arts – Visual Artwork Intense Plan, designed for budding artists aged 13 to 16. These students immersed on their own in the world of visual arts, checking out a wide spectrum of techniques, from dry media to soaked media and summary portray.

This comprehensive method integrated drop-in periods, immersive 3-working day intensives tailor-made for youth and teens, and participating family-oriented routines open up to all age groups.

Complementing these works, the exhibition also displays 16 parts that bear the unique mark of the RCA’s Arts Blast Camp.
