Skylight Music Theatre’s 2022-23 season functions Disney holiday getaway demonstrate

Skylight Tunes Theatre’s up coming year will provide a Disney flavor to the holidays, and the story of a French saint to the Broadway Theatre Centre.

The 2022-’23 period, announced by creative director Michael Unger and colleagues in the course of a Skylight occasion Monday night, consists of “A Jolly Holiday getaway: Celebrating Disney’s Broadway Hits,” a new loved ones-pleasant revue with 30 tunes from Disney musicals and “The Music of Bernadette,” a new musical from composer Frank Wildhorn about Bernadette Soubirous, the woman from Lourdes whose Marian visions surprised the globe.

• “Mamma Mia!,” Sept. 23-Oct. 16. The musical loaded with ABBA music, about a youthful woman on the verge of relationship hoping to figure out who her start father is. Could this working day be her Waterloo?
